The CPH Studio Hotel is situated just a five minute metro journey from Copenhagen airport (to Øresund) - the same line connects the hotel to the city centre (seven minutes to Kongens Nytorv stop). Bear in mind that public transport in Copenhagen is rather expensive, and so a return journey to/from the centre will cost 48 Danish Krone (around £5.70).
It is a pleasant/mellow residential area, with a Lidl just a short stroll away. Also, the hotel is in close proximity to the fantastic Amager Strandpark.
We stayed in a small double room with kitchenette for four nights and found it adequately spacious - however the bathroom can seem a little cramped, with the tiny sink slightly awkward to use. Nevertheless, our only real issue with the room was the lack of storage space - just a few hooks along one wall, meaning most clothes had to be kept in luggage. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and the very large window was a welcome feature. A fan was also provided, which helped with the warm nights.
We paid just a fraction of what many other city centre hotels were charging and so this hotel was undoubtedly worth it - we would happily return if in Copenhagen again. Staff were friendly at both check-in/check-out. The hotel’s rooftop terrace is also a brilliant feature, with sweeping views of surrounding Amager East.
