Stayd there 7days, its ok hotel for low budget Hotel, Pool is ok. Room's are old and beds are really hard to sleep on. But this is Greece so... :) Staff at the hotel are super nice and helpful, bar is open late and they really make good tasting drinks and hang whit you. So just buy new beds and i will come back. Also really good is Taxi boat to town 4e per way and it runs late too, hotel is near so that was great when travelling whit kids.

Well was a little concerned when I read the reviews before going. However it's a typical Greek standard 3* hotel. Hotel is dated but generally clean. Maid comes in daily changes towels and bedding a couple of times a week not my clean.
Breakfast is fine typical continental. Restaurant was good although only ate once.
Don't miss going to the bar, staff are fab great fun and super drinks to sample. Waiting staff are just lovely and make you feel at home. Hotel manager was extremely helpful we had a few health issues but were dealt with well.
Location for us is fab beach lovely if you don't want to go far. Super walk around headland, easy access to bus and watertaxi. Supermarket within easy walking distance. Traverna on beach good food more expensive than if you travel. Johnnys is definitely worth going to we loved it here, great staff and food.
Would we stay at this particular hotel again?
Well we chose it for value our daughter's are student's and had to pay for themselves so in that respect maybe. For myself and my husband no we wouldn't.

We stayed in June
Restaurant is good for paying evening food. Staff attentive and very friendly.
Morning restaurant same smiling friendly staff.
Breakfast not good - cold omelettes 1 inch frankfurter sausages bacon bites... fresh fruit is one option sliced orange or for 2 days we had water melon ...the rest is all laden sugar tinned fruit... the usual bread jam help yourself toast, if you can get to the toaster... tea coffee machines of poor quality
The best ting about the hotel (as we found) clean and location.
Beds in comfortable bed very large.
A great view from our balcony, this I feel was luck of given this room as we went in low season and it was quiet.
Pool we did not use this area as we enjoy the beach.
Beach is kept clean and the on site Kanapitsa Taverna serves good food snacks the prices are the same as other beach tavernas.
Walk to Johnnys up the hill is steep, but take it slowly if you are unsteady on your feet because Johnnys is well worth the walk.

If the hill is too much then the boat taxi is a great way to get into town, although a lot more expensive than getting the bus, €8 for 2 one way
Bus stop 12 is a good 20 very scenic walk away
Bar staff and the waiting staff are the most friendliest in the hotel.
Would I come back .... yes if I could tolerate yogurt for breakfast everyday ..... or just bring my own weetabix

Plaza hotel located in kanapitsa 15 min from Skiathos. This hotel is suitable for those who have a car and those who dont stay in the hotel all day
The bad things about the hotel
1.Very few sun loungers around the pool
2.No showers around the pool
3.Theliner of the pool is turned to green from blue
4.I have never seen a pool man cleaning the pool
5.Many mosquitos in yhe rooms
6.On the front hotel veranta very few chairs
7.The safe is charged 5 euro per day
8.The wifi 5 euro 90 minutes
9.Breakfast is very poor

There are potentiala for this hotel but the owners dont seem to care very much

The room is big and quite good but the bathroom is outdated

If you find it on a low price go but if its expensive go somewhere else

For my standards is not a 3 star hotel

This was our second visit & as it was a late booking we were in a room at the back of the main complex .
Our first visit 5 years ago was a sea view room on the front ... oh what a difference!!!
The room was clean & pleasant enough but looked tired & in need of attention one of the electric sockets needed a bit of coaxing to get it to work & the TV wouldn't come on .
We knew there was no tea making facility from our last visit so came prepared with our own kettle. Shower was tiny , but the room was cleaned daily with a change of towels .
Amused by the sign on the fridge saying you were only allowed to put hotel purchased items in the fridge !
Lovely staff husband & wife who worked very hard serving both breakfasts in the morning & meals in the restaurant lunch & evening .
The hotel is set in a beautiful position with a lovely sea view from the breakfast room & you can watch the water taxi trundle its way towards the beach ,very relaxing .
We had an enjoyable week as we love skiathos but sadly will look at alternative accommodation.
The Plaza needs updating .
