We needed an overnight stay in Corfu town at either end of our holiday to Paxos. On both occasions we arrived late in the evening but the staff were unfailingly helpful and friendly. The lady on reception speaks good English and is very nice. Yes it's an old fashioned hotel but that adds to its charm; we slept very well and the bathroom was clean and more then adequate. In a great location for the ports and the town, with a nice cafe at street level.

We stayed in this hotel for a week at the end of July. It is.very clean and the staff are efficient and helpful. We had an amazing sea view from the fourth floor. The room had shutters air conditioning and wifi. The bathroom was small but there was always plenty of hot water. Breakfast was cold meat, cheese, bread, croissants, fried egg, sausage, toast, cake and the coffee from the machine was good. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The location is perfect. Thank you to all concerned.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view

Old crooked hotel good location Helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely view of the sea. Walk distance to everything in town. Incl. Breakfast. Everything a little primitive without the big finish, but clean.

We wanted somewhere with real, Greek, 19th century charm. And here it was. On the waterfront, a real hotel that had been serving visitors since the late 1800s. If you want the most modern rooms with fancy fittings, look elsewhere. Our room was plain and adequate -- what won me over was the creaking old lift, the well trodden stone staircase and the breakfast room that echoed of E M Forster and Gerald Durrell. The breakfast was nothing special, but in that setting I felt a real traveller and didn't mind in the slightest. The staff were friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our bags on our return as we had a few baking hours to kill -- a kind gesture. And being opposite the taxi rank, the delightful Black Cat restaurant and seconds from the mysterious lanes of Corfu City, we couldn't have been more pleased.

Room Tip: Take the sea views. I'd read that the waterfront was noisy, but with reasonable Windows it didn't bother me.

We were staying for a few nights in Corfu town & wanted to stay somewhere with a little character. Konstantinoupolis had this in abundance. We had a 3rd floor room facing the harbour with amazing views watching the boats come & go & great for a little people watching. The rooms for clean & comfortable. Yes the bathroom was small & needed a little tlc but more than met our needs. The Breakfast was good.I will definately be staying here again.
