Stayed at the Voltas about 4 weeks ago - could not fault it. Had a wonderful room with small kitchen addition which was very useful. Room was spacious, well laid out with plenty of storage and a comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom - towels and linens changed regularly. Good sized pool with plenty of chairs (movable parasols would be useful). Great and plentiful breakfast and the restaurant served excellent food at lunch and dinner. Owners and staff extremely friendly and always ready to help. Looking fiorward to staying there again next year.

Room Tip: Overlooking the bay and not too high up if elderly and not up to stairs as there is no lift.

We stayed in Valtos Beach hotel in the beginning of June. We were a group of six people, and we had three rooms. The staff was friendly and nice. Rooms were very clean and spacious, and bed was comfortable. Had a great view of pool and ocean from the balcony! Breakfast buffet was excellent. We had half board so we ate dinner at hotel restaurant every night. Dinner was also great, the portions were huge! We loved especially salads and seafood dishes, yum!
Location is great by the beach. We used hotel sunbeds (12€ for two beds) almost every day. They are very comfortable and worth the cost! Valtos Beach was also nice and quiet compared to busy Parga town. We walked to Parga town every night to shops and bars. A couple of times we used water taxi back from Parga to Valtos beach.

Stayed: June 2017

We stayed at Valtos Beach Hotel in Parga, Greece for 2 weeks returning last Sunday. This was our third time and we just love it and will be returning again in May. We were half board and it is excellent value, the food is delicious. Cristos and Nicos are the hosts and were as lovely as ever. Service is brilliant, especially Alex! Highly recommended

Room Tip: ask for a low room when booking, some rooms have 80 seats to get to them

Got home last night 15th Oct from Valtos Beach once again a great holiday from a great family, nearing the end of season we didn't think it would have the same standard as in June how wrong was I. The breakfast wasn't old chewy bread or old boiled eggs, all the eggs are cooked for you fresh you can have beans, bacon, toms, ham, cheese most anything. The room we had was in the older part of the hotel the shower was always hot [even at 6-30am when we had a trip] clean towels every day room cleaned every day. Great sunbeds and lots of them beach towels are provided. The aircon is free so are the safety deposit boxes in all the rooms. All the staff are friendly and cant do anymore to make your holiday great

Room Tip: Rooms at the top of the hotel have great views BUT lots of stairs if young its not a problem

Staff are friendly, hotel food is good though pricey. We stayed in a junior suite which was a very nice clean room, very little choice of English programmes on TV. Room was cleaned and beds made every day. On our last day we wanted to stay in our room until we were picked up. This cost us 35euros for 4 hours which considering how much I spent with the hotel was quite high. The beach had very nice sun beds and a waitress/ waiter service if you wanted drinks or food. This was 10 euros per couple for sunbed hire in October only. The beach itself was stoney which made it difficult to get into the water. I would suggest you take some sort of waterproof shoe to go swimming with. Further along the beach is sandy.
The WiFi in the room is very poor, I could not FACETIME, send emails with attachments or even surf properly. The WiFi was a little better in restaurant area and also better on the beach sunbed area.
We went from 1st october 2017 to 15th October. A lot of the places were shutting down in the first week, so if you are expecting everything open then don’t go in October. If you hire a car the fuel is 30p a litre dearer than the UK. We hired a Kia picanto and cost us 164euros for three days. This was through our Thompson rep who used AVIS.
To get a taxi from hotel to Parga harbour is 5 euros, a water taxi is 2 euros each way. Or you can walk which there is a very steep hill to climb which will take about 20 mins to get to harbour.
Last year we came in may 2016 there was entertainment at our hotel, October 2017 there was none.
If you do drive the roads are generally quiet so it’s quite easy to get about. The sat nav on my phone was very useful.
The best restaurant we tried was called “ Castello”the food was excellent, staff are friendly and the service was good. There is another restaurant called “ Sakis” this also is good.
On another note, at this hotel the tiled floors are washed down every morning which makes them hazardous to walk on, just be careful.
The hotel pool is cleaned everyday,
It’s only a small pool but it’s good if you want to cool down. There are sunbeds around pool as well.
For October it was exceptionally hot, we were told that this was unusual.

Room Tip: Depending on your budget this hotel offers various room requirements..
