We had a fantastic stay at Villa Chrissi. The quality of accommodation and facilities made for an excellent family holiday. Mr Manolis and Mrs Doris did everything necessary to ensure we had everything we needed, from simple provisions, to a tour of the local area to show us where the tavernas, supermarket and beach were located. It was reassuring to know they were on hand should we need anything.

The Villa was kept spotlessly clean by tMrs Dina, who was always really cheerful. We enjoyed some of the fruit from the garden (peaches and grapes) and found the pool area and outdoor kitchen a great space to relax and enjoy the breathtaking view and sun.

I would certainly recommend Villa Chrissi. I would also like to add that Kostas, Property Manager for Etouri, was extremely helpful and professional throughout.

Our extended family (8 people total including a small child) stayed at Villa Chrissi in May. What a positive experience! From the villa, the facilities, location, nearby tavernas and of course Doris and Manolis. The owners made your feel welcome from the minute you arrived until you left. There was so much attention in making our stay awesome in every way and we all loved it. Without doubt, we would all go back. Truth is, you felt like you were part of the family. We found the local tavernas charming, good quality and very affordable. You will need transport to get around but we knew this before we arrived. You can get to the local supermarkets, restaurants, cove/beach in around 5-10 minutes depending on how may local sheep you meet in the streets. There is so much to see if you want to adventure out but honestly, just chilling at the Villa was superb and relaxing. It was our first trip to Crete after so many recommendations but it will not be our last and Doris and Manolis (and family) are a big part of the planned return journey....and did I say that villa Chrissi was great? It is!!!!!!

Villa Chrissi is relaxing and spacious with two lovely swimming pools and spacious terraces from which to admire the views over Rethymnon. The owners, Doris and Manolis, were delightful and did everything possible to make our stay perfect including a guided tour to show us the local shops and tavernas - they even brought us a cake and some home-made wine to celebrate Easter Day. My children loved the horse and the goats and the space to run around. This is a lovely location for a relaxing family holiday, with good access to the main road.

If you are tired from the noisy megapolice it's the best place to visite. Beautiful location: in the mountaine, only 10 minutes to the sea by car, near the village with several supermarkets, good tavernas.
The exterior is beautiful but not so greeny as we expected. At the villa you will enjoy with the rural atmosphere:chikens,goats,birds,horse. But if you are travelling with kids it could be a liitle bit noisy.
The interior doesn't correspond to the photos, And we were very dissapointed that there were not the dishwasher ( ads refer to the presence of this)
The cleaning service have been provided only once in a week. Usually in other villa this service is provided 2-3 times a week
But the owners are so sweet and helpful. We are really appreciate their help with all ours troubles.
So, resume: good location, beautiful exterior, 2 pools, animals but the price for the apartment is overestimated
