This was a great holiday. Hotel is out of town so very peaceful. The staff are very friendly and very knowledgeable about where to eat and what to do. Hotel may be basic but the scenery, peacefulness and friendship you get more than makes up for this. If you want a quite time to enjoy your holiday and to see the real greek hospitality then this is a must if you want hectic, chaotic and lager louts go somewhere else. This holiday for me was perfect that is why I have booked up again for August

I stayed in this hotel last year for a total of 9 days. The price wasn’t bad compared to higher star rated hotels in the area. They do rate their hotel as a 2 star hotel and they’re completely accurate in their assessment. The rooms were small and there is no WiFi in the rooms. You’ll need to leave your room and hangout in the lobby or breakfast area to access WiFi. There is a small tv (90s style) mounted on the wall and the bed is hard as a rock. As a matter of fact, this was the worst part about this hotel, the room and bed. If you’re staying 1-2 days then ok, if you don’t mind roughing it a bit. I left there with excruciating back problems because of the bed. The hotel is old and needs to be modernized badly. With this less than flattering review, the hotel guest receptionist, owner, manager seemed to be there everyday and were most friendly. They were the best thing about this aging hotel. In summary, if you’re looking for a stay that won’t break the bank, this hotel is it. Although the staff are super friendly, it still doesn’t make up for the much needed upgrades. If they were to invest in comfortable beds and pillows, then this would be an added bonus.

The rooms are a bit on the basic side and could do with updating - especially the showers (there was no wall fixing so you had to hold the shower in your hand) and maybe the TVs could be modernised with more English channels.

Unfortunately some of the rooms have a lot of road noise as the hotel is on the main road and does not benefit from double glazing. Also it is so close to the Airport that there is a lot of aircraft noise but this is not the hotel's fault but it would be improved by better sound proofing (double glazing?).

The saving grace of this hotel is it's swimming pool and area. The pool is a lovely addition and very welcome if you have time for a dip.

Breakfast was good value at 5 Euros.

The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the main road which is very noisy.

The location is good close from the airport and the port, is also easy to get into the city center from there, if you have a car.
The staffs are welcoming and the price is good. They also offer a nice breakfast for a fair price.
The hotel is clean and the room is exactly what you see in the photos, the only bad and not expected thing was that our air-conditioning wasn't working properly.

Good points :
Very good location near the airport (10-15min)
Not too much plane noise (but you can hear them a little)
Nice and big pool (not too cold ;-) )

Bad points:
Strong smoke smell in our room
Near the road, so you can also hear cars
No hairdryer for ladies
Small shower and without soap
