An amazing place to stay in its comfortable and beautifully designed rooms, but also relax in the lovely coffee and wine bar! Do not miss to try out the delicious flavors of their cuisine! The location is perfect, as it is the heart of the centre of Heraklio!

Veneziano hotel is located in the centre of the town, within walking distance of every sightseeing. It is an amazing old Venetian style building, fully renovated to comply with even the highest needs and demands.I had the chance to spent a couple of nights there, and i was amazed by how they managed to keep the building's Venetian/Ottoman style, yet to create a modern and luxurious space.P.S. The cafe downstairs is great wth high quality cafe and service-as expected.Overall a positive experience, i hope next time i will have more time to spent!

This is a small hotel in greatly restored old building. The room was large, well equipped and spotless. It is situated in old Heraklion with its very narrow streets. Everything was within walking distance. The people working there were helpful and polite (as everywhere in Crete!). If you are renting a car, there is a parking lot few meters from the hotel with a charge of €6 for the whole day. Avoid the room on the ground floor since it can get a bit noisy until late.

A beautiful little hotel right in the heart of the city. Everything is within easy walk from this little gem. The rooms are cosy, spacious and comfortable, The bed and pillows so comfy. The shower products were really citrusy refreshing. Breakfast is served in the courtyard and is really good, even though personally I found the Cretan breakfast a little bit too much for my stomach. I would avoid the courtyard bedroom during the weekends as it can be a little noisy until late in the evening. If you have a car, I would highly recommend that you visit the Parking lot in Nikou Kazantzaki ( meters from the hotel) and reserve a place (4 euros from 7to4 and 2 euros until the following morning). The boys at the parking lot are really helpful. There are road works under way on the main road towards the hotel so make sure that the taxi doesn't just drop you off in the main market but drives you to the hotel from the 25th August though Nikos Kazantzakis street to the hotel.

When we stayed here in July the hotel was relatively newly opened. The staff, especially the GM (or owner?) were incredibly helpful and lovely. He carried the suitcases up the spiral stairs (no elevator) and made the whole stay a breeze.

The hotel is PERFECTLY located close to the city restaurants, sightseeing. I felt like it was located between two Heraklions: the central touristy part and the "real" town. If you wander to the other side of the hotel, you will experience the city dwellers and get a glimpse into the everyday life of the locals. Love it!!

The rooms are all different and with fantastic styling and details. They were clearly designed to seamlessly marry the old architecture of the building and the modern, functional furniture and features. The designer paid close attention to details, down to perfect door handles and bathroom fixtures. Some rooms look out to the street, some to the inner courtyard. All have amazing windows that provide noise reduction when needed (wasn't needed). The AC worked perfectly, the bed was extremely comfy and the room clean. It had a kitchenette, laptop desk, enough seating and storage.

Breakfast (included in the room price) could use some update as there was not much choice, but that might've changed since.

Parking was super easy to find on the streets by the hotel.

If you go behind the hotel in the narrow street you will find a small home/studio of an old man who paints the most amazing wood icons. Look for him and get yourself a real souvenir.

i would go back in an instant! Great vibes all around this stylish, small hotel.
Thank you!!!
