This high-tech hotel offers everything you need to have a great time in Herakleion. Amazing location, helpful and friendly staff, spacious rooms, very clean and tidy. Overall, it is really worth staying there.

Stayed at the Olive Green Hotel to bring in the New Year, it was a super central place to stay in the city. The rooms are so modern with all the technical stuff for lights, computer connections, a mobile to take out and about to find out more about Heraklion, there was a tablet to browse the news and your check out your mail. Tea and coffee making facilities which so many hotel here don't have, plus a mini bar.
The lift to the rooms is secure access only with room key card. The staff were great so happy and helpful.
We enjoyed the breakfast, there was a good selection available.
The bar is a great place for meeting with friends so often very busy and noisy but a good atmosphere and the bar staff so efficient and the food served is excellent. My only down side was the vegetarian options were not fantastic, ( I can make pasta and rice dishes at home, I think there is room for improvement here, with better protein content.)
Overall I would recommend this a great place to stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the park.

Clean and good design .surrounded by a few good places to eat. Close proximity to shopping and the waterfront. Very easy access to get ferries to Sorentino. Easy to get taxis. Nice to walk around for food.

This hotel is new, nicely kept and quite modern/high tech. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the location is perfect, right in the city centre but still quiet. The rooms are spacious, light and very clean- we were also lucky to have a view of the park and cafes. Huge bathroom and comfy beds - it was a shame we had two singles put together rather than a double though. Food and drinks there are good and the breakfast has many mainstream choices. However, for a hotel which incorporates ‘being green’ in its brand, I truly think there should be some vegan options at breakfast (at least soy milk, some dark chocolate spread or porridge etc).

best croque madame ever
Sfakiani pita

Honestly the best croque madame we’ve ever had. Even though I would normally prefer a local dish, this is something no visitor to Iraklio should miss. Sfakiani pita is a great extra you would love if you like sweet & salty.
