Room clean basic. Needed shower to be fitted on wall.Lovely taverns and restaurants close by. Disappointed with train ride. Lovely going up in the mountains and views but said we would stop for lunch with gift shops. Only on taverns no gift shop so had to eat there misleading.

Room Tip: Not at the back as you cannot sit outside in afternoon no shade and to hot

Well you know the old addage of dont judge a book by its cover? Well this is just that!!
We were knocked off our feet by the hospitality shown to us by George and his family, despite travelling to Greece for many years this was something else
We stayed in the larger of the 2bed apts which provided lots of space for us as well as brilliant views.
Nothing was too much trouble and George was always happy to help.
The provides you with a good choice and the menu is very good value.
We have booked to go back already and we can see the Lena becoming a regular favourite for us.
Yamas George!!!

Basic but clean apartments, ideally situated for everything.
The bad points ;
Shower doesn't hang on the wall,
No toilet paper provided.
Beds made, towels provided , but apartment only cleaned once a week .
No toaster.
People from Manos apartments next door take over the sun beds and pool despite having their own next door.
The good points ;
Ideally situated,
Beach across the road,
Clean ,
Bins emptied regularly
Family run ,
Well mannered caring staff.
Good well priced food and drinks,
Weekly BBQ
Keep your room on till 5pm on day of departure for €20
Nice pool and sun beds when next door are not using them .
Owner will make you a meal even when you arrive very late ,
All in all a great place to stay , conveniently situated for shops bars restaurants and the harbour .
Word of caution though , a beach party takes place from 10pm till 7am once a year in mid August so pack your ear plugs .
For the best food and value in the evening go to Taverna Leonidas

Room Tip: Previous guests seem to have the monopoly on the best rooms , but they are all pretty good .

Having just spend two wonderful weeks at Lena Apts ,rooms so very clean,we had a two bedroom apartment which also had a lounge with Day bed and two settees,a huge kitchen ,nothing was to much trouble for the staff.Its situated by a main road but is quiet ,just across the road to the beach and a five minute walk to main square.look forward to going again next year
