We visited this Taverna that we had visited two years ago on a family holiday.
Our first experience was nice and the waiter said that he remembered us which subsequently proved untrue.
We had a reasonable meal and he told us that the taverna was closing in two nights as it was the end of the season but that there was a local event with live music that we could attend on the Sunday evening.
We then visited the Taverna for another meal on the Saturday night which we were told was the last night of opening. The waiter was still fairly friendly but not as much as two nights before.
On the night of the live music we ate at home and then went to the Taverna which was still open serving food and drinks and ordered a beer and asked about the local live music. The waiter was quite offhand and said it was in the building opposite and included a meal but cost 12 euros per person entry. Both the waiters that we had spoken to previously completely blanked us as if they couldn’t recall us even though we had been there twice in four days. We were very offended as Greek people are generally friendly and not fake.
I think the reason they did not acknowledge us was because we were not eating only having a drink.
Needless to say we will not be visiting this Taverna again.
