I would say it is challanging to get to the top, specially under the sun while 30 degrees. The view from the top makes it all worth it

Super view of all athens from all sides
The walk is worth the result.
U can go up on foot from the bottom of the hill or by car and there is a huge parking next to the theater. Still a short steep walk up but worth it.

Nice little church up the highest hill in Athens.
Great view of the city.
You can take a funicular though is very expensive ( 7.50euros) that's more than most museums in Athens and only last 2 minutes in a tunnel. Another downside of taking the funicular is that you actually have to go half way up on the mountain before you get to it.
A taxi there is probably cheaper even if is just two of you.

There are a couple of roads that would take you there without any problem and is a nice walk up hill, just take it easy.

It's about 30 minute uphill walk or you can take a mini train to go up to the top. Gives you 360 view of Athens and there is a restaurant at the top as well with decent quality food at good prices :)

The church itself is quaint and beautiful. What you really want to see is the view, which is spectacular. See reviews for Mount Lycabettus, they say everything you need to know!

Definitely for 360 degree views over Athens, this can not be matched but you need to be there early before any organised groups arrive! Lovely quaint Catholic Church overlooking Athens. Well worth the visit!
