Description: A little more about us and our dining philosophy Ama Lachei at Nefelis is a traditional greek mezedopoleio, which means is a restaurant that serves meze. Meze is a selection of small dishes, resembling appetizers or tapas. They are served in a random order and are shared by all dining companions. They are not served all together, but each dish arrives at the table as soon as it is prepared. Therefore, there are no starters or main dishes and everyone shares the same small dishes. According to the Mediterranean dining tradition these small dishes are shared between friends and family, while consuming alcoholic drinks, often over the course of an entire evening. The serving of meze is designed to encourage conversation, because people are not so focused upon eating a full course meal set before them. The culture of sharing food brinks people together to communicate and socialize, which makes it a tradition worth exploring...

Really good meze in a great outdoor setting, the inside restaurant was good, but the outdoors is so fun. A vibrant place to eat and chat over dinner was had by all! Amazing!

Had two dishes here- a large salad (one is big enough for two) and a braised chickpea dish for lunch. Both were very good, I’d like to try dinner here. Outside seating for warmer weather. I would come back here. Was a good choice also for my vegetarian friend.

Lovely cool oasis under large awnings on a Sunday lunch service
Obviously busy and popular but sat for 30 minutes after finishing - very good - meal
No one cleared table or asked if things were ok / we wanted more drinks or food
In the end just asked for bill and left
No tip !
Food and site excellent service worst so far
