Very nice hotel that has refurnished rooms. The bathroomis rather small, but everything you need is there. The room itself is large enough and has large windows with much light. The wifi is free and pretty good. The breakfast is included and more than you may expect for a Greek cuisine. Most interesting is the location of Arethusa in the center of Athens near Syntagma square. Ideal for discovering Athesn in a few days or even as atransit hotel after or before a vacation or a cruise. We paid 70 euro for the room for 2 persons.

Room tip: Book in time, you're shure for the room and by paying in advance, you get a nice reduction!

It's a nice hotel, clean rooms, with free wifi, frigobar, cable TV and a very nice buffet breakfast. The location is excellent, at Sintagma Square, where most of the tours start, near Monastiraki market and Plaka area.

If you are going to explore the main sites and sounds of Athens, are on a budget and love shopping, then get on board. If you wake up in the morning, shower, eat a simple breakfast so you can explore everything worth exploring, then stay here. If you like your hotel's staff to polite, helpful and unobtrusive, this is your dig.
If you plan to check-in, laze around the hotel using its facilities, move on. If you fancy a breakfast banquet, look for another. If you like a retinue of staff following you like you are Apollo or Athena, then go find another place.
Rooms are comfortable, with economic spatial use. But totally worth it - Ermou, the main shopping street is behind the property. Plaka and Monistiraki are down the road and Syntagma Square a hop away. Restaurants, cafe, kiosks, pharmacies, travel agents, supermarket all up and down the street. For a tourist, it is so comfortable knowing everything you can possible need is just two steps away. So yes, this is the place for tourists like me.

Room tip: It doesn't matter because no room has a view. I think the rooms on the left side of the corridor are more spacious.

The Hotel was in the center of Athens which made it absolutely great with its location. But the walls are rather thin and so if you have inconsiderate people who come back late at night and start to talk loudly, move around in thier room, you would hear it. So get ear plugs.
Hotel was clean and breakfast very good.
