Although some visitors have complained, I found this hotel quite good. Clean, modern and for the money an absolutely bargain. Only stayed one night, and must admit the room was small, but worth the very sensible cost of about 50E.
If you do stay there, don't miss out a fantastic restaurant just down the alley - leaving the lobby, turn left on Menandrou and head toward the Psirri Square (get a map from the friendly staff). It's just a 10-minute stroll, and although the neighborhood is not exactly 5th Avenue, it's not too scary, either.
Head for Taverna Orea Penteli and try their Gyro Chicken - it's probably the best meal I've had in Greece - and that says a whole lot!
Also, don't miss out Chic Hotel's roof terrace. A late afternoon there with your favorite drink and company - or just a good book - will be a good memory. No bar, no lights, so bring your own.
