“Great cottage in a beautiful location”
Reviewed 13 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

We had a fantastic stay in Valley View this year. It's a great cottage, really well furnished and equipped and in a perfect location. We loved taking to the cliff path to walk down to Little Haven, and all in all it was a great base from which to explore the Pembrokeshire coastline. With two small children, you need a place where they can run around and they spent lots of happy time racing around the sun deck - plus being so close to so many great beaches made it ideal to keep them happy. In particular we loved walking out onto Little Haven beach at low tide and going round the headland to Broad Haven beach where one evening we sat to eat some fish and chips as the sun set. Pretty idyllic and highly recommended.

“Fantastic cottage, fantastic location, couldn't have hoped for more”

Valley view is extremely well furnished and very comfortable. It is very well located for walking and for beaches. We had a great week at Valley View with our two children (17 and 15) and only wished we had been there for two weeks instead of one!

This is our second visit to Valley View and it won't be our last. It's the perfect holiday home from home and we were blessed with perfect weather (while the rest of the country suffered in the rain). Just a 5 min down the hill into Little Haven, Valley View is peaceful and well equipped (inc wifi). From 2 of the bedrooms you can walk onto the deck where we had ate al fresco and watched the birdlife. There's a bar b q if you wish and well equipped kitchen, but we ate out every night at one of the 3 Little Haven pubs (best to book in the busy periods). Turn left from the house and immediately right and you can walk over the fields down to the point in 10 mins with spectacular views of the coast - our dog was in heaven! ).

“Excellent property, superb location, wish I was back there now!”

Just got back yesterday from a week staying at Valley View, and I'm missing it already.

As a group of three adults and one 18-month old child, we had a superb time. The property is lovely, deceptively spacious, and exceptionally well equipped. The beds were very comfortable; the large decking area was perfect for barbecues; and there are a range of useful touches such as Wi-Fi, a cafetiere in the kitchen, and a good selection of DVDs in case of bad weather (although the weather couldn't have been more perfect for our stay!) We found parking for two cars to be no problem at all, and could get either in and out easily.

The location is excellent. Five minutes walk down the road to Little Haven, or 10 minutes walk across an open field if you prefer. Little Haven itself is a gem - a very picturesque cove, with an attractive village huddled around it, boasting three very good pubs. Five minutes drive to Broad Haven, which has a Londis shop (including a cash machine), some more cafes/pubs and an extensive beach. 20 minutes drive to Haverfordwest, so a convenient base for exploring all around the Pembrokeshire coast.

Would definitely recommend, and would definitely hope to stay again.

“'A Perfect Break'”

We have just returned from spending a week at Valley View with our family and loved the house , location and of course Pembs. Valley View was very relaxing and excellently equipped. The location was perfect just up the hill from Little Haven but also just across the road from an open field and access to the coastal path. My little 2 yr old grandson loved walking this route to the beach and back collecting treasures on the way. We loved the decking area and conservatory with the outlook over the valley and the birds visiting daily was a treat. The house was warm and welcoming and had enough room for three cars to park which is a bonus in Little Haven. We would all recommend Valley View without hesitation. Forgot to mention Wi Fi a bonus too.
