My friend and I, stayed here for three nights and loved it. We had a bed and breakfast deal. We arrived quite late so took a taxi from the airport it cost 25 euros. Check-in was brisk and we were given a key to our room.
You have to remember that this is a guest house, so there are no extras such as lap top friendly safe, tea/coffee facilities, mini bar, fridge and bath robes. That said, i didn't miss any of these. if you are looking for clean comfortable accommodation, with good air con (yes my menopausal sisters, it was good), shower with large rainfall shower head, hairdryer, TV, free wifi and at a reasonable price, then this is the place for you. There are ample power points
Whilst the rooms themselves are not huge, the room we were allocated was a twin bedded room on the second floor with views over the city. The room was cleaned daily and towels replenished. The usual toiletries were provided. Bring your own shower cap and face cloths as neither are provided.
There are several restaurants and coffee bars nearby. We didn't eat at any of these places but they looked ok and perfectly reasonable.
We returned to the Airport via the metro. Which is left out the front door and first right at the traffic lights. five minutes walk. Journey time 35 minutes to the airport. cost 3 euros. Select zone 4 on ticket machine menu.
Breakfast was served from 7.30 until 10.30am. We had an early start on our final day and asked whether breakfast could be served early. They accommodated our early breakfast request, which was really nice. Breakfast was continental style with different types of breads, cheese, cold meat, fruits, fruit salad, cereals, yoghurts, which set us up for the day.
Whilst it is usual for me to stay in four and five star hotels, I would definitely return to this budget establishment. The staff were friendly, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. It was a really good place for a short break.
