“Lucky find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 December 2011

This lovely little place offered out favorite (and least expensive) meal of the trip. With wine, bottled water, entrees and two salads, our bill averaged 16 Euros per person. Excellent dourado, squid, whitefish and cuttlefish. Lovely wait staff. this is really a tiny place. Visit the bathroom downstairs to get a look at the kitchen. It's a trip.

“Friendly, cosy little restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 November 2011

We visited this restaurant for two out of our three nights in Porto. The staff are very friendly and the food, although quite simple, was tasty and great value for money. Worth booking in high season as it is only very small.

Lunched here one day. Very small and atmospheric and the food was typical and well prepared. Worth a visit and very convenient for us.

“A restaurant for good local cuisine.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 November 2011

After spending an hour searching for a good local restaurant I found this delightful pocket sized eatery. The staff were pleasant and helpful to the extreme, especially when it came to discussing the virtues of a good quality Port wine. (if you want to know, go and find out) The meal, I had Grilled Lula's with its compliment of fresh vegetables and it was a delight for the palate, a fresh crispy side salad and a good cold beer or two. Well worth a visit for some good authentic food. CG
