Our city tour was amazing! If someone just came to Funchal and never been there before it a must thing to do to explore city of Funchal. Amazing places, views and stories. We have had a lot of fun!

we booked a tut via the hotel on 9th of jan, enjoyed so much booked another for the 10th. great fun, great knowledge. the 2 drivers brill, great fun. would highly recommend and so worth the money, you see so much more of the area.

we had a lovely tour by tukxi up through funchal and into the mountains , there was just the two of us , which is the main reason for booking , that and the novelty of the vehicle , it was just perfect !! we was collected from the cruise port by a lovely friendly and knowledgeble guide , he seemed to genuinely enjoy his job and had a wide depth of history and key facts about the places we visited , he made sure we wasn't rushed and the whole tour felt just right , we also had the chance to visit an old fort , again we was dropped right off in the grounds , and the guide got some lovely photos for us , it was a lot of fun and so much more personal than a bus tour , i would consider this kind of tour again around a different part if we returned , and of course the added bonus about pre - booking was the collection right from outside where the cruise ship dock , funchal town itself is a good 20 minute walk , so it was nice to have it all organised and confirmed before our holiday .

We booked the Madeira Grand Experience online after office hours on 28th December 2019 so we were wondering if they would actually turn up. The Tukxi arrived at our hotel perfectly on time the following day driven by our guide Francisco.
We didn't have an itinerary in mind so Francisco suggested the best places on the island to visit within the 6 hour time limit. We had a fantastic day out with a delicious lunch in Nuns Valley. We went to places you wouldn't imagine the Tukxi being able to go but it did.
Our guide was brilliant, spoke excellent English, was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the island. I would highly recommend asking for him if you decide to take this tour. He went over and above what was expected.
It was a really nice day so we were able to have the top down throughout the tour. I would suggest taking a light jacket if you plan to go up into the hills as it did get a little chilly.
All in all a fantastic experience which I would do again if I return to Madeira.
