This is just the best food we’ve had in ages. We had the cataplana (fish stew) for lunch and it was memorable...heaps of seafood and vegetables in a wonderful balanced sauce. We couldn’t finish it cos it was so big and it felt like really good Portuguese comfort food. We also had very good white wine recommended for under 8euros a bottle. Service was fantastic ...friendly and helpful...we ended up returning for dinner and the sea bream and vegies and octopus were wonderful. Generous portions and perfectly cooked seafood. We loved it all and that’s hard for me to say cos i’m fussy with seafood and hate it when it’s ovrcooked even a tiny bit. Both meals were faultless. Thanks to the fab staff who made us feel at home.
