Excellent hotel in a perfect position in the Baixa, close to a Metro, and easy access to most parts of the city. Internally very pleasant with comfortable rooms.
Be aware that you can only get into the hotel after 3pm, but have to leave by 11am on departure (although bags can be left ).
We were not happy to have paid for bed and breakfast to be told that the breakfast room was closed and we would have to use vouchers at a nearby cafe (which was good), thus disrupting our morning routine. TV didn't work in the room so changed rooms. Could have been handled much better by staff - one in particular - who forgot that "The customer is always right" and was more tan happy to engage in arguements.
Plus side, I did get half a bottle of sparkling wine for my birthday!!More
