The most friendly and helpful staff of any hotel I've ever stayed in! Great location in Lisbon, close to many tourist points of interest. They have a spa in a sister hotel 5 min walk away. Was very pleased with the spa. The room was spacious and comfortable. Restaurant served decent food but there are many restaurants within walking distance.

Four day sightseeing trip to Lisbon.

Being a previous Porto bay user ,did not hesitate to use this Hotel for our stay.
Lived up to all expectations.Had junior suite for 3 people.Room was great and spotless ,beds extremely comfy, impressive balcony, breakfast first class, staff very friendly and helpful.

Good position. Bus stop 727 to Belem close by, as is metro.
Would return here without doubt if ever visiting Lisbon in the future.
Strongly recommended.

Room tip: Well worth using hotel's airport transfer service.

We actually really enjoyed this hotel!

The check-in was wonderful, in fact, all of the staff we encountered at the front desk were wonderful. The gentleman outside the door was really sweet too.

We enjoyed the location of the hotel. We'd previously stayed in the city center, which we enjoyed too, but at the end of the trip we were ready for a little more calm and quiet. Right across the street from a Metro stop, so it's very easy to get anywhere you need to go via the Metro.

We were upgraded to a junior suite. It was really nice. The room was wonderful. We loved that the room got totally dark at night, bathroom was a separate room and we heard absolutely 0 noise at night. It was fantastic! The little sitting room with the microwave, tea, and coffee was great too. There was plenty of space in the room. King sized bed.

The only negatives were the view (our room faced interior) as it faced buildings on all sides. We needed to keep the blinds closed, but, again, we were upgraded and loved all the extra space, so really not a complaint. I would stay in that room again if we go back to Lisbon. The pool is a little small, but as my husband pointed out, it's a rooftop pool in a big city, that's how it is :). The rooftop was very pleasant. It was also nice to be able to order drinks from the bar by just using the phone right next to door to the outside.

Overall, we would absolutely stay here again! We appreciated the kind staff, the location, and the niceness of the upgraded room. Thank you, PortoBay Marques!!
