Pedro could not have been more helpful and gave us great info about the surrounding area, cafes and bars. Very good acc. and comfortable. City centre and attractions within easy walking distance. Very relaxing square nearby with shady park and bars. Thanks Pedro!
This apartment is located on a narrow, one-way, inclined street. The staircase to the unit on the second floor is steep and tight. The apartment itself is very narrow and tight - except for the main room. Finding the bathroom in the middle of the night is a challenge. If you are a large person, this place will close in on you. The shower stall for me (5'2" and 130 lbs.) was too small and I had to leave the shower door open, just to breathe. Other than that, the apartment is immaculate and centrally located, within walking distance to cafes and eateries. Bring your own toiletries, coffee, sugar, and whatever your need. These are not provided.
Everything was going ok on our recent stay at Birds Apartment then on the last night/morning we has thousands of visitors.
The apartment was infested with moths when we woke up. They were everywhere, floors, sink, shower, walls, on towels, on clothes, everywhere.
We tried contacting the owner, Pedro, but he would not answer his phone or reply to emails. He was also due to tell us if we could keep the room for an extra few hours as we had a late flight. Again no reply.
He said he would email me of restaurants, etc. in the local area, again nothing.
Despite previous reviews this area is not handy atall for the places people want to visit in Lisboa. Transport is poor apart from Ubers.
Definately an apartment I would not return to or recommend to anyone else.
Very disappointed, I hope they clear the moths before the next people arrive.
This apartment is an excellent pied-a-terre for those who wish to explore both the main attractions and the local neighborhoods of Lisbon. Good restaurants within walking distance, congenial host and a functional apartment.
We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment, which is well placed for visiting the attractions of lovely Lisbon: not clear the nearby cafe where we started our day with coffees and delicious pastel de nata. It's well within walking distance of a metro stop, so you can easily travel to sites such as the tile museum (our favourite), the pantheon, and so on.
