We spent a magical 6 nights at Palacio Belomonte in the Amadeo de Souza Cardoso suite. PB is way more than a boutique hotel - it is an experience that most hotels could only dream of offering.
The building dates back to the 15th century, and it has been so perfectly preserved, that one almost feels if that's all the architecture / frescoes of original tiles one saw in Lisbon; it would be enough. The hotel features contemporary touches and interesting art, making for a truly tasteful aesthetic.
The hotel features a lovely courtyard garden where one can have breakfast / a drink; although we were served most mornings on our beautiful bedroom terrace framed with an established bougainvillea bush.
The service was so thoughtful, with the concierge service giving insider tips that made the trip all the more meaningful, and easier to navigate. Special thanks to Mohammed and Faissel for all they did for us - and in fact to the whole PB team!
The hotel is central, but tucked away at the same time; so everything is easily accessible, but the hotel has a sense of complete privacy.
If you are looking for a true gem in a remarkable boutique hotel; this is the stay for you!More
