We read the reviews before deciding to dine here tonight and we're very glad we did not let the handful of negative or neutral comments dissuade us. The food was excellent and the service was top notch.

As some other reviewers note, appetizers are automatically brought to your table. You can ignore them or send them back to avoid the steep extra charges. I suggest sending them back just to avoid the temptation to snack while waiting for your main dishes, which are well worth the short wait.

Accustomed as we are to American style restaurants, where each person orders their own meals and splitting plates is often frowned upon, it took us a minute or two when our food arrived to notice that the waitress was leaving empty plates in front of us and delivering each dish we had ordered to the center of the table, complete with serving utensils. You serve up your own portions family style from each dish that has been ordered. Generous portions of each main dish and side dish were provided, and we probably would have been fine splitting a single order except that we were extra hungry, having played tourist all day and skipping lunch. You can also place double orders at a small discount which would be great for larger groups.

Also, the English translations for the dishes do not do justice to the food. What was described as bread crumbs, which we thought meant the meat would be breaded and fried, was actually a very tasty bread stuffing side dish. Food was very fresh and was served hot. We can recommend the John Dory, which was very light and flaky, and the black pork roast (the "black" refers to the type of pig it comes from, not the way it is prepared. This pig's meat is especially lean yet flavorful).

Our waitress even noted that my wife was interested in a side dish that came with a meal we had not ordered, so brought us that dish as well.

After spending a few days in downtown Lisbon and having several dinners in crowded restaurants with mediocre food, this place was a welcome change.

We have visited the restaurant during our trip to Oceanario. For lunch we had grilled fish that was delicious. The food came with the grilled vegetable and fresh herbs on top of it. We have paid around 30 eur (2 meals) including water. Highly recommend visiting if you plan to go to Oceanario.

We went there for a business dinner. It has been recommended to us, therefore we gave it a chance.
We started with a bunch of starters brought by a waitress. Those were quite good, yet expensive (as it turned out at the end). For main dish we both went for a cod fish. It has been served to us in a one big dish, covered with steamed vegetable and swimming in approx. 1 litre of olive oil. It was quite salty as well. For a desert we took the restaurant speciality, which was not bad.
What I did enjoy the most was their crafted IPA. I must say this was the best I have had so far in Lisbon.
At the end we did received two glasses of complimentary Porto wine, which was a nice touch.
Overall it is an average restaurant. It did not satisfy my expectations but maybe it will yours. Give it a try if you have time.

Made a reservation, received confirmation on sms and email, and when we got there, it was closed. I suppose that the confirmation was sent automatically, but that s not an excuse..
