I am writing this review for customers who (like me) don't eat sushi but love asian cooked food. For us, the sushi non-eaters, we know how hard it is to go out with friends who love sushi and not being able to join them on a japanese restaurant. Sakura offers you a wide variety of great cooked food, you can join your friends gladly :). The grilled dishes (squid, prawns, chicken, pork) are good, the mushrooms is something you must try. The staff is friendly however it's a bit hard to communicate as they speak a poor portuguese. The chop sticks are made out of plastic which causes some trouble when picking up the food. They have a fixed price and it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant however is not cheapest offer you have around but it's worth to try.

I had a nice lunch in this restaurant, good price for the buffet(about 13€), obviously is not a real Japanese restaurant, run for tourists but good service and very good cakes in the end!

If you truly love and enjoy sushi and sashimi, you definitely would not like this place. This place is run by Chinese Portuguese who don't appreciate Japanese food culture.

Cool place, nice decor and calm.
Had the all you can eat at lunch and everything was tasty, fresh and flavorful. Lots of variety and options.
Desserts were OK.
Staff could be more friendly.
Make sure you only order what you can eat, if you leave any leftovers you will pay for them.
