Myself and three others entered Sakura on a Saturday just after 12:00pm. There was a woman behind a counter near the wide open door who told us they weren't open yet and instructed us to sit in a waiting area. We sat for about 10 minutes in the dark before they turned the lights on. There was bad Korean music playing and it smelled of sour bar drinks/fruit from the night before. While we waited, we saw several employees setting up the dining room, walking past us, and no one else acknowledged us. Around 12:45, my friend went to ask if we had to wait much longer, but didn't see anyone in the front, so he headed back towards the dining room. The entire staff was seated around a table eating lunch.

At that point we decided to leave, and checked the hours on the way out. On Saturdays, they are supposed to open at 12:00pm. We were really offended that we had been made to wait 45 minutes without any explanation of when we would be served!

We went to the Dutch embassy and in front of it we discovered this Japanese restaurant.
The staff was not very friendly, but they were at least polite. We used the buffet and we thought it was overpriced for what we got.
The salmon was of bad quality, extremely fat, the food that was suuposed to be warm wasn't warm and after our meal we had to pay much more than we are used to in better Asian restaurants.
There were also some nice things, so I don't say that everything was disappointing, but I go on a frequent basis to Japanese restaurants and I can tell the difference. It was not very special...

The offer is diverse.
The food is fresh.
The restaurant is well designed with tables for groups, tables around a teppanyaki griddle and a "traditional" booths area.
Just be sure you don't go there on a day when it's packed. You might see your orders take a bit longer than expected and sometimes you have to reorder because some orders get lost in the way.
Overall a very good Japanese experience.

The food is extremely good and tasty, and you're able to feel a true Asian atmosphere thanks to the waitress's traditional clothing and the live cooking as well. Lunch and dinner follow the All-you-can-eat system. Dinner only costs 16,90€ each person.
The whole staff is really polite and even if their English knowledge is not the best you can find in an international capital, it's not hard to make them understand the meal that you have chosen.
definitely recommended!
