A great hotel in a great location! The room was very confortable, I felt like being in my own home! Wonderfl breakfast and a very nice place between the rooms "el patio" to drink a coffee in the morning in peace!

Been meaning to write this review for a while (apologies, Team Casa Do Patio for the delay!) My wife and I stayed here in July for 3 nights, before heading down to the coast, and it is one of the most fantastic places we have visited. Slap-bang in the middle of Lisbon (which, itself, is one of our favourite cities we've ever visited), this boutique accommodation was just top-notch. From the moment we first arrived, we were made SO welcome by Rafa and all of the other incredible staff members. Nothing was too much trouble, and as soon as we arrived, we were told of the best places to go to (restaurants; live music/fado venues; bars; museums; walking routes around the city; shopping haunts) tailored to our individual likes and needs. The apartment, itself, was lovely: so comfortable, spotlessly clean and relaxing and a real home-from-home. The communal courtyard was a great place in which to chill out and drink a cool beer (Superbock, of course!) and should you run out of your own stockpile, there is a very well stocked fridge in reception with an honesty box, which itself is indicative of the relaxed and welcoming ambiance of Caso do patio. It was, all in all, such a memorable and enjoyable stay and we hope to come back to your beautiful city (and accommodation) very soon. Many thanks Rafael, Rosaura, Catarina & Pedro!

Perfect place to stay. Very central, good accommodation, comfortable beds, pleasant surroundings and we enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard. Excellent choice for breakfast including fruit, yoghurt, cereal and eggs. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. We would highly recommend it.

the reason why i give 3 /5 is that

1. we could hear every word being said next door
2. very unpleasant odor from teh bathroom(day 1 was forgotten - in the evening no other option) - this was probably a health hazard(spores of a fungus)
3. the hotel seems understaffed. day one the room was not made. the complaint about the very dubious smell in the bathroom forgotten - and they were good peaople, but non stop on the move

Room Tip: 301 has an issue with the bathroom

My boyfriend and I booked here last minute, we actually had another reservation but the first place was so bad that we left first thing in the morning, after a long and awful night, to come here. I am grateful we did. We were greeted by Rafael and Catarina in the most wonderful way: they let us have breakfast with the other guests, with homemade crêpes, cakes and jams, fresh orange juice, fresh fruit, tea and coffee in the beautiful and relaxing patio. They had the room ready, they gave us the time to relax a bit and they gave us a map of city explaining what to see and do. The room was big, clean, bright. Everything was just perfect. We spent two nights here and I wished we had more time. Next time in Lisbon, I'll book here!
