We arrived at 9.00 at the hotel, dragging our feet after waking up at 3 a.m. to catch the flight (actually not going to bed at all, of fear we will not be able to wake up in time!). Accomodation as of 13.00 hrs :(, when the former visitor release our room - but we got free coffee instead, a nice library and a lot of compassion and warm welcome plus a room upgrade.
We had a suite - 2 rooms with spectacular views plus a big terrace facing the botanical garden. The wooden window panels were great, as well as the generous bathroom. We will for sure come back to Belver for our next trip to Lisbon!
Breakfast is good and a la carte, including champagne and pancakes. Most probably one might get bored after more than 3 days, but still - the staff friendliness (they were patient enough as to allow for us testing our Portuguese during ordering for breakfast!) and coziness of the breakfast room were definitely compensating for this.More
