I love this hotel! The location is great as it is close all the wonderful sights in this amazingly beautiful city, it is very central to the riverfront and close to Alfama and Chicado (take sensible shoes as Lisbon sidewalks are very slippery).
The rooms I have stayed in are very tastefully done with an exceptionally comfortable bed, very nicely designed (we stayed in the suite on the top floor with a private outdoor balcony and also a superior room). Due to the location (it's next to a lot of night life) it can be a wee bit noisy at night as the area is very busy at night, however, ask for a room on the upper floors and facing the river as its quieter.
There is a restaurant in the hotel but I only ate there once as it's a Sushi Restaurant and coming from London I wanted Portuguese food.
What truly makes this hotel exceptional though is the staff. From check-in to check-out, they are very helpful. They assisted us with restaurant reservations, recommendations on where to visit and how to get there and they did it with a smile which I felt to be very genuine.
Overall, I really love this hotel and having been twice, I look forward to visiting again very soon.More
