We recently stayed in this great apartment where everything had been done to make our stay very comfortable and memorable. Austin met us, showed us nearby places of note, gave us valuable information and could not have been more helpful.
Well descibed, well equipped, ideal position.

Ideal access to public transport from Rossio train station and Praca da Figueira.

We just returned from three weeks in the lovely city of Lisbon where we rented an apartment, the cozy Casa Santana, situated above Rossio Square. Watching the light develop over the square during breakfast and turn the buildings golden at sunset became a daily routine while enjoying this remarkable apartment. The rental itself is well laid out and appointed with excellent Wi-Fi. Air conditioners in both the living and bedroom helpcool down the apartment immediately for comfortable sleeping at night. A mid-size living room with 2 windows is separated from the kitchen which is equipped with a full-size refrigerator, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and an attractive array of serving and cook ware. A small dining area with 4 stools makes a comfortable room divider: dining then relaxing. The basics are there: laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, some daily items such as coffee filters, paper towels, bathroom tissue, and replaced by the tenant as needed. The bathroom is small but highly functional. The bedroom, large with three windows, is located on the back of the building, so having your sleep interrupted by noise was rare indeed. The bed is comfortable, and the closet space and hangers generous. The very helpful and accommodating host--Austin--came weekly to clean and exchange linens. She was there by e-mail to answer any and all questions with immediate responses. The apartment is also well-stocked with an abundance of guidebooks and travel tips. Though the apartment might be a bit of a climb for some people (up a steep hill off Rossio then up a set of stairs) the location and views it provides are stunning and well worth any wear on your shoes and/or feet. Several markets and restaurants are within minutes of the property for your convenience for either eating in, or dining out. If you are looking for a well-situated, comfortable, reasonably-priced apartment in central Lisbon, this should be your first and only choice.
The apartment is nice for a family with teenagers. There are plenty rooms for everyone and it is in the middle of the city!
Great location, just a short walk to the main squares of old Lisbon. Also a short walk to the lesser trod (tourist) areas where locals eat and get their hair cut. The apartment is up one flight of stairs, quiet with a view of Rossio square. Ample space with a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and space in the bedroom. I was impressed with Austen's honesty when I overpaid in cash and she refunded quickly.
