I am gelato eater and Fragoleto can only be described as perfection. Is a piece of Italy in Lisbon, with tasty , creamy, delicious home made ice cream with really inventive flavours.
The owner, Manuela Carabina, learned the art of ice-cream-making in Italy, and offers many choices made with seasonal fruits, as well as a soy option for vegans or the lactose intolerant.
Embrace the unconventional and you’ll be rewarded with complex, exotic and harmoniously blended flavours. The simple classics can still be found and, as with all the gelato here, are made with top-quality ingredients that follow the seasons.
The nut flavours are particularly noteworthy and include hazelnut, almond and peanut with salt, my favorite gelato in Lisbon.
Fragoleto is my favorite gelato shop and is probably the #1 best gelateria in Lisbon.
