A very moving experience. Being here puts the whole story of a famous miracle in Fátima all together. Makes you realize just how far the three children ( Lucia Santos, 10, with her cousins, Jacinta, 7, and Francisco Marto 9 ) walked from home to tend to a flock of sheep when the encounter occurred by the Virgin Mary.

Very small - two rooms. The bedroom & living/cooking area. But right across the street from where they used to live. Worth the few steps across the street to view

Well if you are visiting Fàtima and the Basilica don’t miss a visit to Casa De Francisco and Jacinta Marto. It’s so touching to see where the children were born and lived. Very special.

We drove there and had no problems finding it. We went inside and saw the room where both were born. But we were not fascinated by it. I liked the fact that you could give a donation (we certainly did), not necessarily pay to see a house that was very similar to the one what my grandmother used to live in. We bought souvenirs in Fatima and found out that the same ones we could buy here but at totally different price - much cheaper.

Amazing to be able to see and walk through the little children of Fatima’s homes and see how truly tiny of a home they lived in.This family lived so humbly that it’s pretty easy to see why Our Lady chose them to deliver her message to the world. This is a very easy and nice walk to and from the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima.
