Wonderful little restaurant serving authentic Portuguese food. So glad we stopped in. Servings are right sized, not large, order accordingly. Enjoyed our dinner. Restaurant was filled by 8:20pm.

Thank Jose O

What do you look for in a small, family-run restaurant? You want fast food, glitzy service, trendy dishes? Don't come here. In fact go away now, because you won't find that sort of stuff here. But if what you want is the most honest, well-cooked, delicious classic Portugiuese food, served well and cooked divinely, then this is the place for you. The food is quite simply superb. It is simple and none the worse for that. Fish, rice dishes, stews, seafood, it's all here and done in such a simple and honest way, you can not complain. The staff is small, one lady looks after the front of house with her husband in tow behind when they are busy. 3 staff in the kitchen. My wife and I ate here 3 times in one week because the food was so good. One day I had Bacalau a Bras, codfish cooked with potatoe and scrambled egg with a lot of garlic and olives. Heaven on a plate. On our last visit we had an excellent Arroz mariscos, seafood rice, with fresh crab, prawns, clams and mussels all cooked in a deeply flavoured broth. Simple deserts, all home made (everything here is home made) and a limited amount of wine en pressao (from the tap). There is nothing pretentious here and it works brilliantly. Oh, and the added bonus, it's amazingly cheap. Most of our meals with wine came to just over 40 Euros for 2 hungry people. If you are in cascais and you are hungry, this is the place to go. Enjoy!

I chose this small cosy typical Portuguese restaurante to celabrate my dad´s 80 th birthday. He only likes home made food. Both him and all the guests loved it.
Good quality versus fare price ! I definetely recommend for REAL food lovers !

The lady serving us spoke little English but was welcoming and helpful.
We had seafood rice which had lots of fresh crab- no crab stick here! Nice atmosphere and will return.
