My partner and I had a wonderful meal at igoarias. We really enjoyed the pumpkin curry and eggplant dishes. It was great to be able to interact with the chefs and feel like we were having a meal at someone's home.

Excellent well-cooked Indian food. I had the shrimp with egg plant which was delicious. The place is tiny but very cozy. Lovely owner.

We invited friends to come with us to this restaurant on the basis of the interesting menu.
The restaurant has a pleasant ambience and we were looking forward to the homemade food.
There was just one person running the restaurant and we wondered if he was the chef as well as the waiter.
The food arrived and had a great aroma. After eating part of the meal we discovered the middle of all four meals was cold. Looking further down the restaurant we noticed that all the meals were in Tupperware containers and kept in a freezer & then heated in a micro-wave. There was no kitchen.
It was disappointing especially as we had been eating undercooked prawns and crabs and there was the question of wether we would have up set stomachs after this.
Technically these were homemade meals but, I still feel this was misrepresentation.

Definitely to be recommended if you're looking for something different in Cascais. The food is excellent, but, equally important, a very good and pleasant service and atmosphere. It is a very small place, so make sure you arrive early enough or make a reservation (don't know whether this is possible though). The menu offers offers a wide enough choice of vegetarian, meat and fish dishes, some spicy and some not so spicy, so that every one can find something to his or hers liking.

Excellent experience! Go there!

Really good food and very friendly owners. Food is a mix of Goan am Portuguese cuisine. They also serve really tasty wines here. Will be going back. Thanks
