The Convento is truly an amazing place to stay. Your jaw drops in awe, when you walk through the building. Make sure you go down to the Port. We ate at the Churascorria (Sp), there, in a lovely setting overlooking the water. I had read about the restaurant Atlantico, but it is closed. We also ate at O Jaime, down the street from the Convento, but the seafood was terrible (hard to imagine). The mixed sea food grill ranged from overcooked to tasteless.
