The photos show a charming old building and several cottage type buildings. They are there But much of the hotel is in a fairly modern office looking block down the garden My room in the old building was pretty and beautifully renovated. It faced north east so no sunshine really. The bed was super comfy but the quilt too thin. If you visit, ask for a heavier one if you need it A fantastic job the owners have done in the building renovation though, with other odd buildings scattered around the main building too Meals served all day is a bonus. In the modern building all open plan ; with a central open kitchen ; style is beach .. the problem being that it was always cold at dinner. But it was November Breakfast has a confusing menu with things which are and which are not included with this choice and that choice. Maybe a simpler presentation would help because the breakfast food is fresh and good. The homemade granola is to die for. And the morning jazz played at breakfast was the most suitable and relaxing I ever heard Dinner was well presented and was always open to amendments when asked. A fish night, a steak night and a fresh pasta night were all superb; I will long remember the apple crumble with hazelnut ice cream. I had it three nights out of three.
