Beautiful houses, very clean.
Staff are super friendly... the place is in a quiet place but also close to the center (only if you have a car).
Only two things id comment on is the food selection offered on the premises (not many varieties), also since its advertised as a family place, kids pool could be more fun for the kids. But thats just be neibg spoilt.

Just returned from a fabulous holiday at Aldeia Azul. This is true gem in the Algarve. Apartments perfect with a huge balcony including sunbeds. Plenty of activities for our 11 year old son at no extra cost - football, tennis, volleyball and gym.
Lovely pool with no hassle getting a sunbed - great to come down in the morning to empty sunbeds instead of beds covered in towels and no guests around.
Bar staff were great and nothing was too much bother. Big thank you to David for entertaining our son in the art of making cocktails!
Only thing for us was we didn't hire a car and too far to walk to Lagos. Used taxi service but felt that was costly so used the bus service several times (reception were good enough to get us a timetable).
Overall a fabulous holiday and we would definitely come again but hiring a car!

Room Tip: Hire a car!

This is one of the loveliest places my partner and I have stayed. The service makes this resort truly wonderful. The staff in the hotel and restaurant went above and beyond every single day.

The resort was peaceful, extremely clean and very modern.

Our house was perfect, very spacious, stylish and super clean. Everything in the house was brand new and top quality, we couldn't fault anything at all.

There's lots of facilities to enjoy and we took advantage of them all including; the gym, sauna, pool, tennis court and the football pitch.

This place was truly a haven! Its excellent value for money.

It's close to so many places of interest by foot, bike or car.

The bar/restaurant is also superb value for money. The food is delicious and the staff are nothing short of amazing!!

We would definitely return to this resort and can not recommend it highly enough.

Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so fabulous!

We were a group of 6 and booked here to spend 6 days visiting the Algarve region. We couldn't have asked for better! The apartment /villa had absolutely everything we could have needed and was very clean. There was daily cleaning with change of towels 3 times per week and weekly change of bedsheets. Fully equipped kitchen with even some food supplies to get us started for our first breakfast ( nice touch)! It had a washing machine and clothes rack to dry our clothes , in room safe, flat screen tv, iron and ironing board, wi-fi, covered parking sheltered from the sun, outdoor patio with table and chairs as well as long chairs and straw hut. It is quiet, peaceful with nice greenery. There was landscaping work going on but this had no impact on the beauty of the scenery and peacefulness of this place. Nice to sit out in early am and hear the sounds of nature ( doves, cows in the distance....). It has all the accommodations needed for families ( pool, sauna, tennis, soccer, gym, restaurant etc). Other than pool and tennis, we didn't get to use the other accommodations as we were too busy visiting this beautiful region with one nicer beach after another.... Although there were several families with young children, it was still peaceful and never felt crowded (pool area). There is a kids pool and a play area also. They supply pool towels. Whenever we had an issue and called the front desk, it was always dealt with promptly and professionally. Luca , at the front desk, was always very accomodating and helpful in answering all our questions and giving us needed information. We communicated by email prior to booking and once again, always prompt and informative with his replies. There was also a young lady who received us at check in and gave us a tour of the facilities as well as offering us a welcome drink(sorry I don't remember her name) who was also very friendly and welcoming. We used the computer on the last day to print our boarding passes without difficulty. The front desk closes at midnight so they give you the code for the gate if you arrive later than that. We had to leave in early am, so just had to leave key on table and lock the door.
Honestly, I have nothing negative to say about this place and would return without hesitation. Maybe just a suggestion, would extend pool hours from 8 pm to 10 pm. Otherwise, really a hidden gem!!!

We booked a week here. We found it easily by leaving the motorway at junction 1 we miss Lagos and have only two roundabouts to navigate. The resort is a three minute drive from Lagos so you will need a car to get into the town. The receptionist was very helpful. As we arrived quite late, we had a quick bite before she showed us the facilities and then our house. The resort is run as a hotel, but with houses instead of rooms. We had a two bed house (No. 10 of 30) with a great view of the pool area. The house, balcony is spacious and comfortable and we felt at home quickly. We had breakfast there twice (7 euro per adult) which is a continental buffet. The bar staff are very friendly and helpful, they also run the modest provision store off of the bar area. We only used it for ice creams. Cars are not allowed into the resort, but you can gain access for loading etc. The car park has car sun shades to park under and is locked at night. there is a code if you are late in. The pool is very nice with plenty of seating and shades. The guests seem to be 50/50 English or from Portugal, which I consider a good sign. Clean, Quiet, and friendly. Highly recommended.
