I recently stayed three nights in Stay hotel. I found the hotel very cold, our room was like ice & bathroom even worse & the breakfast room was so cold that people have to wear their coats.
Also 1 tea bag to share among two people??? No milk???
The staff were very nice & location of the hotel convenient. A basic hotel that I would not recommended especially in the winter.

We were booked here for two nights. Check in was quick and the reception staff could not have been more helpful.
The location was superb, steps away from both the old city, the sea front and the pedestrian shopping streets.
Our room was excellent and spacious. The only reason I did not give five stars was the strange policy of only leaving one coffee sachet and one tea bag each day for the two of us in our double room [made more strange because if we remembered we could have taken a dozen up from the breakfast room] and the obvious removal of the room fridge and safe [Valuables must be left in the reception safe].
Breakfast was good. No hot dishes but an array of breads, pastries, cereals cheese etc and the ability to freshly squeeze your own orange.
The hotel bar and reception is 24 hours and the free WiFi was very good.

Room Tip: Street front rooms were not overly noisy.

We only stayed one night as a stopover. Very clean, comfortable and efficient setup. Staff could not be more helpful, very pleased with their service. Breakfast was a continental buffet with high quality items. Good location, around the corner from lots of restaurants and coffee shops as well as high-end shopping.

Room Tip: Just ask -- they'll do the best they can.

This is a perfect hotel for a short stay. It is central enough to be convenient yet far away enough to be quiet.

The room is simple and well appointed, with a kettle and tea/coffee which is a rare, nice touch. The beds were comfy and the bathroom pleasant. Our shower tray leaked a little, we were offered another room but decided to stay put and just use a towel - I was impressed that they took it seriously. There was a small balcony too with big doors giving plenty of light, the Aircon kept the temperature right.

We don't eat breakfast when travelling as like a late brunch following an even later night, but what we saw looked decent.

The staff knew where to send us for interesting places to eat and drink and the welcome was top. The WiFi is strong and reliable.

Would stay here again :)

Stayed here recently and was very pleasantly surprised at the lovely decor and friendly staff. Stayed as a family and unfortunately they have no family rooms so we stayed in 2 double rooms. One of the rooms was a bit of an awkward shape but still ok once inside (on opening the door it hit the bed, but wasn't a problem once in the room). Breakfast was continental buffet for €7 per person but no charge for the kids. We had one very friendly and helpful guy for most of our 3 day stay, think his name was Ricardo, and he is to be commended on his helpfulness and consideration. If we are in Faro again we most definitely will stay here. Also in a very central location just around the corner from the shopping street and only 5 mins walk to the harbour and old town. Only complaint is there is no sound proofing from the windows so you can hear all the noise and unfortunately one night there was a live band playing till 2am in the morning which sounded very close, although I was told it wasn't.
