We stayed here as two families of four for one night. We had access to one room early and were welcome to use the facilities until late the next day. The staff were all really friendly- the tennis coach saw the kids watching a lesson and then came to chat and gave them a tennis ball each! The pools are fantastic, lots of junior pools attached to larger pools. We ate in the two poolside bars which were reasonably priced - big thanks to the lady running the Whale pool bar on 3rd/ 4th August, very welcoming. Rooms were spotless and large, supermarket is located just by the entrance.
Only ten mins in taxi to Albufeira for a night out.
Would definitely love to return, my boys are desperate to get back to those pools!

We stayed here as a family of 5 . Our ground floor apt had 2 bedrooms and a pull out sofa bed. The apt was very clean and had everything including all sports channels and we had free Wifi. The resort itself had at least 5 lovely pools with a pool bar serving drinks and food. There was also a nice par 3 golf course with a driving range and a clubhouse and golf shop . At the entrance to the resort there was a well stocked shop with a cafe . The nearest beach was a 10 min walk . At the beach there was water sports on offer and a cafe/restaurant . From the resort a 15 min walk either way will bring you to some local restaurants we particularly liked a lovely Indian restaurant . All said I would recommend this resort just to be aware that many of the apt’s are owned privately and some are in better shape than others -we had a great place . Hope to return there some day as it’s suitable for both couples and families.

Not a bad course to break you in.This is a par 3 course with just a few hazards the hole 2 is a trying one as you have to tee off over some trees.so confidence is needed here.Hole 1 has a water hazard.but it is not that daunting.

Overall a very good place to stay in the area - we had a Apt at the back of complex beside driving range - nice and quite - very well kept - a little bit of a walk but not an issue - had got an apt in the front for the first night - while ok I would avoid it as noisy and less spacious

Pools very good - nice Par 3 to play around - good tennis courts - overall very well maintained

Only downside was the restaurant/bar - neither very good and would avoid as some good restaurants close by - Martins is especially good

Not far from a really nice beach and in driving from water parks

We stayed in privately owned ground floor apartment in balaia gold village. We were very happy with our apartment which was close to pool and snack bar.
It’s a quiet resort with lovely white wash buildings and amazing grounds with flowers and beautiful plants. There is a choice of pools and tennis courts which you have to book.

The beach is ten min walk and it’s gorgeous.
We walked down to Olhos de aqua along the beach for lunch.
It’s a lovely town and is 5 min in taxi and is lovely for evening time.
There is supermarket at gate (has cafe)and then a bigger one ten min walk away in either direction.
For restaurants take a left out the gate and walk for less than ten mins. There’s a gorgeous Indian there which is so reasonable. We also ate in a Portuguese restaurant which was unbelievable value. Our meal came to €70 for 7 people including wine.
There’s a bar called the three Maria’s also which do lovely mojitos and have loads of pool tables.

The only negative on this holiday was expensive drinks at pool bar but we expected this. The beer was 4.30 where as you can get for 2€ -€2.50 in other places.so not too much to complain about.

Over All amazing holiday
