Valentino’s was on the list of places to try whilst out in albufeira and I’m glad we tried, proper to visiting the reviews had given us an insight into what we could expect.
It was a good visit, the waiting staff were very friendly and attentive catering to us well. We originally sat inside on a table towards the middle but a table by the terrace windows quickly became available and they moved us swiftly there before taking our orders.
We both ordered the bruschetta with tomato starter, although small and light it was very well presented and very tasty.
Mains courses we had the tomato and basil gnocchi, and a calzone with a side order (of the main course macaroni and cheese) again, all presented very well and all delicious, only issue for me was the portion sizes of the gnocchi and macaroni, between 2 of us we easily managed 3 main courses and then a pudding.
We tried the cheesecake, which we were told that along with all the other puddings were all home made - it was tasty and presented well!
A very good visit all in all!
