Set in the old town of Evora, it has a perfect location for exploring the old town. It is set in an old house, dating back in the 15th century, which gives the hotel additional charm. The rooms are really spacious with excellent bed and pillows that allow you to get the sleep of your life. Our room was in the back of the hotel facing a narrow and very quiet alley. The front rooms are facing a street which is opened for traffic, which can cause to have some noise in the room, but they do get the view of the valley. The dining room has an inside part and a terrace that is facing the same street. There is a wonderful view from the terrace, but you cannot neglect completely the noise from the passing cars. The breakfast is very good, high in quality. Beside the other things, for breakfast they serve Pastel de Nata, the most popular sweet in Portugal. We couldn’t let a day pass without having a couple of them, we even brought some back home.
The parking can be a small problem as there are only 6 parking places provided by the hotel and the price is 12.50 Euro/day (if I remembered correctly). The other option is to park in the nearby streets, which can be a little bit costly (have in mind the parking is free of charge on the streets from 21:00 till 08:30 next morning). The hotel will show you a free of charge parking outside the city walls, just 5-6 minutes’ walk to the hotel.

Room Tip: The rooms is the back have additional charm as you feel that you are back in old Portugal as they face a narrow and quiet alley

Beautiful, spacious, ancient - fantastic location, lovely rooms, very attentive and helpful staff. There is a lovely courtyard to sit in for coffee or a glass of wine. Excellent breakfast. The building is from the 14th Century, and has been beautifully and sensitively updated. Highly recommend.

The Noble House was an AWESOME location to stay. The hotel was beautiful, spacious and clean. The service was great and offered suggestion to local eateries. Every hotel employee we encountered was polite, engaging and helpful. The room was beautiful with a walk out balcony and perfect location. Breakfast included was delicious and a special treat. My only recommendation would be to not charge for in room coffee. That's kind of a given expectation. Would definitely return to the Noble House. Evora is a must see destination in Portugal.

My husband and I didn't really know what to expect when we rang the buzzer at the front door of The Noble House. From the outside it looked like a nicely maintained white-washed building, very much in character with the street within the walls of the old city. But, once inside you have a beautifully designed space, exposing original brick walls and tiles, on multi-levels, furnished in a simple, modern style. Our greeting by Stela, who brought us each a glass of hot tea (without being asked) was warm and friendly. We were brought to our room, on the third level, from which we had a view of the Cathedral. The room itself was actually a suite of rooms with a sitting area in addition to a sleeping area - all modern, minimal, clean and welcoming. We participated in a wine tasting/tapas dinner in the evening (which was fun and delicious) and in the morning were greeted by a wonderful breakfast spread. Every member of the staff was not only polite but friendly, and we checked out feeling that we would love to come back again. Be aware that the hotel parking lot is not that easy to find. Google Maps led us astray many times. If you're planning on trying to use the lot, I would get directions from the hotel and save yourself from lots of aggravation on narrow one way streets.

Room Tip: The Cathedral Room, on the 3rd floor, is beautiful. But be advised there is no elevator.

Stayed with my 16-year old niece for one night in The Noble House and we both loved it. The hotel is beautifully renovated in the typical style. The staff was very friendly and helpful and created a genuine and welcoming atmosphere. The room and the bath room were unique in its designs reflecting the region. The breakfast was really varied and delicious. The Tapas served in the evening was varied and very tasty, providing a flavour of what the region has to offer. I will choose this hotel again.
