Arrived and greeted by Rob and Sue who showed us around the house and explained everything that was required to make our stay a wonderful experience,
the house is well equiped with every thing and more that you would require for a very comfortable stay.
We stayed for 6 nights and the house is in a great location for traveling around the island and found some great places to eat out within a very short distance.
We found the hot tub a big plus to add to the great unspoilt view from the rear of the building and had a very relaxing beak.
Ideal location, wonderful views, quiet and comfortable
Very well kitted out. They thought of everything!
The hot tub is the best thing on the Isle of Wight in winter time bar none!
Rob and Sue were nearby to help. But other than that we had the space completely to ourselves. We had a great time and can wholeheartedly recommend this space to others.
The apartment was second to none. We were made to feel welcome and every attention to detail was obviously made. We loved it and if ever I the Isle if Wight again would not hesitate to book it again. Wonderful. Top quality, ultra clean and well equipped. No need to bring anything but your clothes. Home from home.
This was a lovely quiet place to stay Sue and Rob were very acomadating, this was just as good as the pictures and just what we wanted for Christmas
We stayed at Foinavon for 2 weeks and had a fantastic time! The house is lovely and has everything there that you need and really felt like home. The kitchen is well equipped and everything you need during your stay is provided. The whole house was very clean and comfortable and had the added bonus of the conservatory and hot tub which was a big hit with all of us and was put to use most evenings. It's very peaceful at Foinavon with fantastic views, some of the best we've ever had on holiday and we really didn't want to leave!!
The house is ideally situated for visiting all the attractions the IOW has to offer, with Brading Roman Villa being nearly on the doorstep. We spent a lovely morning at the Roman Villa followed by lunch there and really recommend a visit. We also ate at the Bugle Inn one evening and really enjoyed the food, and can also highly recommend the fish and chip shop on the high street! There are some great beaches around, Yaverland being a favourite of ours - nice and sandy and also by the cliffs so the fossil hunter among us could look for fossils while we went in the sea. St Helen's is also another really nice beach, quieter than some others and with a nice cafe. There really is so much to do on the island that we didn't manage to fit everything in to the 2 weeks.
This really is one of the nicest holiday homes we've stayed in. Sue and Rob are lovely and very happy to help if you have any queries or requests. I can't recommend this place highly enough, and we will definitely look to stay here again next time we are on the island.
