“10 can stay comfortably”

Certainly this house will accommodate 10 people in space and comfort – two minutes from the beach by car (very limited parking) up a steep hill, or up steps for about five minutes if you are fit. The sea cannot be seen from the house.

The house is very well equipped but as is often the case with house rentals it doesn’t seem that the owners live in them every so often to get the full 'guest experience'. This is a pity, as with attention to small details, being in the house for a week or more the stay would become even better. Sharp kitchen knives would be a start, wine glasses of which there are plenty that fit in the dishwasher, cereal bowls that take up less space in the dishwasher would also help.

All this apart, the owners were always helpful and a welcome bottle of wine was appreciated. A larger welcome pack which could be pre-ordered perhaps, when the nearest super market is 8 miles (20 minutes) away and the house needed complete stocking of absolutely everything needed for daily living for at least a week after an almost inevitable long drive, would also be appreciated by many I would expect.

There is a large garden which children will find fun to play in and hide as it is becoming overgrown with trees and shrubs.

Tresaith is a charming location, with a good and popular pub, ‘The Ship’, and a small shop with tourist some interesting cornucopia which serves excellent ice cream, teas and coffees very close to and overlooking the beach. The beach is clean and supervised daily by trained RNLI lifeguards.

Nearby are several other beautifully unspoilt beaches and all in wonderful countryside. Out of season it was magical.

Not much to say apart from, lovely house, lovely outside space, great location and 2 minute walk from the ship which had amazing views. Mixed weather but even with the rain it had its own charm and plenty to do in the surrounding areas. Looking forward to our next stay already!

“Wonderful house and location - perfect for a family holiday”
Reviewed 10 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Tremle was a beautiful house, very spacious inside with two bathrooms and an extra toilet on the top level, there was plenty of room for all ten of us and two dogs! Lovely décor and very clean inside, the gardens are also very well kept and we had the pleasure of enjoying the barbeque area.
Only a short walk down to the local pub The Ship which does lovely food and drink, with views of the beach. The beach itself was brilliant, a mixture of sandy and pebble areas, we found rockpools, a waterfall and a great costal walk, the icing on the cake was seeing the dolphins so close to shore.
We would definitely stay at Tremle again and Jane was a pleasure to book with.
Many thanks

“Perfect house in perfect Bay”

Beautiful Victorian house in a very quiet pretty Bay with only a short walk to beach and local Inn. My husband and I stayed here for a week in June with plenty of space for just the two of us, although it would easily accommodate 2 families. Kitchen and utility room very well equipped and bathrooms clean and spacious. Furnishings very comfortable in the sitting room. We enjoyed glorious sunny weather for June, so cannot account for central heating, but we had plenty of hot water for showers etc.
Walks along the coastal path were from the door! Local Inn excellent at our time of visiting, with varied menu for most tastes. Staff and locals were very friendly. (The views from this pub are amazing)! Beach was very quiet, sometimes we almost had it to ourselves! The sun never stopped shining from when we arrived to our departure, which was the icing on the cake.
A perfect holiday for us.

Liked best: The location of the property
Liked least: The mattress on the bed (but we are spoilt at home with a very luxurious mattress of our own) so I would have to say - leaving to go home!

“Beautiful house in a great location”
Reviewed 30 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

Tremle is a well-appointed period house with lots of space. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spread over two-and-a-half floors, providing some peace for parents and freedom for kids - something both we and our girls really appreciated. It's in a great location just a few minutes from the beach and offers direct access to the Coast Path.
