Ideal place if you want to stay seaside in a comfortable but affordable hotel.
Clean, clear but small rooms and a very friendly staff.
It is possible to shortly park your car close to the entrance to handle your luggage (in or out of the car).
There is unfortunately very little room to store bikes.
Glutenfree bread available!
We'll go back there.
But pay attention: some short stairs on each floor (as the hotel consists of 2 former buildings which have been united as one hotel), so if you are disabled/have an injured leg, it might be tricky.

Location is very good with the sea in front. Friendly. Room ready early. Superior room quite big but with a issues. The bathroom is big but with not so nice bath/shower in one, really outdated. Bad light f.i. for shaving. Funny smell in the room as well. Bed is big enough but quite hard. The main problem was the pillow. Very tiny and small, like for a little child. This all ended up in a bad night with bad sleep quality. The noise level is otherwise ok and the breakfast is simple but the things that were there were ok. So nothing special, ok hotel but I marked it down because of the sleep quality. Maybe invest in better pillows ?

The location is probably about as good as it gets in Oostend. Right at the beach, and many restaurants in walking distance. The room is spacious, the bed was comfy, and it had everything I needed (fridge, internet, desk to work, TV). However, the room decor looked quite outdated (70s?). A good European breakfast was included. The staff is very friendly and helpful too.

Quick easy registration. Given access pass for nearby, secure car park. The room had a sea view (209) but not too high up so at least you weren't just looking down on it. The room was more than adequate. In reality I'm looking for somewhere clean, dry, secure & warm. It ticked all those boxes & had TV. Annoying having subtitles on BBC1 though. WiFi was available but didn't seem to work in the room. Phone said it was connected but couldn't access internet. I know other guests had the same problem so it wasn't something wrong with my phone. WiFi worked very well in reception area.
Breakfast is included in the daily rate. Juices, cold meats, cheeses, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, coffee & breads.Served I believe, 6.30 - 11.30.
Location of the hotel was perfect for us. On the Promenade, a couple of streets away from the main shopping area & only a short walk to the railway station.
I went to Oostende several times in my youth & it was fantastic to go back & see the place again.
Hotel Die Prince is a good base for any visit.
