Had an absolutely lovely two week stay here very recently.

I chose Ostend as a base for walking and exploring the North Belgian Coast and surrounding area. Getting to the hotel was straight forward once you get aboard the coastal tram from the main station in Ostend.

If you ask at the tram office to the left as you exit the train station for a week / two week pass I paid 16 Euros. The hotel is the second stop after leaving the station and is quite easy to find on the tram map that you will receive from the office.

The hotel itself is only located a 5 minute walk away from the beautiful coastal path and the many miles of golden sand beaches, vast choice of eateries and off course fabulous views.

To get to the main shopping area in Ostend will take a 15/20 minute stroll eastwards from the hotel.

The room I got was on the 3rd floor and was adequate for the duration of my stay. I only had one small issue that the telephone in room happened to be broken so without a mobile it wasn't handy trying to telephone to the UK.

That a side it was a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Travelling by train and back to nearby places such as Bruges, Ghent & Antwerp from Ostend was extremely enjoyable and very affordable.

One other recommended day or two stay that I'd highly suggest is the coastal tram ride to the town of De Haan. Fabulous. Enough said!

I stayed 1 day for a job at the port. The hotel has very friendly staff and is very centrally located. Very nice bed and very good breakfast. Parking is expensive and is recommended at a nearby parking facility. I paid 19,50€ for overnight parking. Would come again surely

Nice and welcomming!
Very friendly staff, bit young but really helpfull. Rooms good, location perfect! Near the beach and city centre. Weather was not so good but we had a great time anyway! Nice shops in the area.

I come to Ostend with my mom for the summer musical, and we always stay here.
Friendly staff. Close to the beachside.
Breakfast is now buffet style, has been since 2 years ago, i think.
No more eggs on request. But we don't mind though, because the selection of breakfast foods is always fresh and tasty. Selection of mini bunns, mini croissants and mini chocolate bunns. Fresh juice, milk and cereal, hard boiled egg, fruit, yoghurt and several choices in sandwich fillings. Fresh coffie and great tea choices.
Comfort room is still minimalistic, roomy and clean.
Tiny negative points :
- rooms on the side of the elevator might consider it noisy.
- doors close loud from the outside, there is no way to do it softly and disturbes the otherwise quiet hotel hallways.
Happy to come back anyway!

Okay hotel in Oostend. No adults working at this hotel. 3-4 kids working at check-in, breakfast etc. The bed is comfortable and big. The breakfast covers basic needs; boiled eggs, cheese, ham. The brewed coffee served in the morning is very weak and taste more like brown water. (Considering there is kids running the hotel we can't expect grown-up coffee I guess) the shower in the room is crap, but the TV is big:) Good enough for a 2 night stay. Ps: don't get fooled by the "spa", it's just a 1-person sauna and a shower.
