We stayed in this hotel for 6 nights in a Junior Suite and enjoyed it.

Strong points:
- central location directly on the beach
- good breakfast with wide choice of pastries, cheeses, meat, etc. and prosecco ;)
- spacious rooms in minimalistic design style
- very friendly and helpful hotel staff
- good and fast WiFi

Improvement areas:
- very limited choice of veggies at breakfast
- no lunch/dinner/in-room dining offered by hotel
- cleanliness of towels
- DND at the door does not stop housekeeping staff from trying to enter anyway

As mentioned we stayed here for 6 nights early July. The room (a Junior Suite) was ready on arrival, was clean in general - only all the towels had minor stains or hair in them. They were changed out immediately when we made the front desk staff aware of this, and this issue did not occur again during our stay. The spacious room had direct seaview and its design was quite minimalistic/Swedish style. It felt nice to stay in the room. The bed was kingsize and the mattress is quite soft. Bathroom was spacious with bath and separate rain shower. The toilet is in a separate room, which is always a plus.

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon, when it was one of the hottest days in Belgium - and of course it was very very busy with daytripping tourists. With us coming in from a long flight, we were looking to have some small dinner, and we were surprised the hotel had no restaurant nor in-room dining option. As we arrived late afternoon, we struggled to find a restaurant in the neighbourhood without a reservation as it was so busy. Eventually we had to settle for a Greek restaurant that served horrible food (but that’s a separare story/review).

Next morning we went for breakfast, which is at the Mezzanine level, and found the variety of the buffet offered generally to be very good - only area where I would improve is the choice of veggies (tomato, cucumber, carrot, etc.). There is prosecco to start the day in a good way ;) and a very wide choice of Belgian pastries in addition to what you can usually expect on a continental breakfast buffet. Over the next days, it is clear that the buffet was the same every day, but that is ok.

WiFi in the room and whole hotel worked seamlessly and provided a fast connection. The hotel staff was very helpful during our stay (and also afterwards when I found out I forgot a pair of shoes) - from frontdesk staff to housekeeping staff. I think this is a family business, and even despite the busy season, staff had a friendly attitude at all times and took the time needed to respond/assist to any request made.

One final remark is that during our stay, several days, even when the “Do Not Disturb” sign was on at the door, housekeeping staff still knocked and tried to enter. I am not used to this and while it was a minor disturbance only, it’s something the hotel could slightly improve on.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay here a lot. We did not like Oostende as such that much, but the hotel gives excellent value for money and offers a relaxing, modern environment directly at the beach.

Disappointed in 'Junior Suite' category which I've since learnt indicates balcony
and dimensions of room and bathroom. I've stayed in similar size rooms around
the world, not designated 'Suites'. Disappointed that the tv was not in line of viewing
from the bed. No reading-light over the bed or in writing corner. Electronic/electric
cables were well encased in furniture units which, unfortunately, were then used
as bedside tables which were too low for comfort. Wardrobes were "open style".
This is normal in a lower-ranked hotel and certainly not in a Suite. Cleaning was careless. Breakfast was good.

Room tip: from 5th floor up is pleasant.

This is a 4 star hotel facing the sea at the boulevard. They own the beach club in front also so when the weather is nice you can sit there for a drink and some bites.
The hotel is very spacious and luxury. The have a lounge part outside and inside, a bar, a wellness part with sauna and swimmingpool and a restaurant. The only missing aspect is a terrace with the restaurant so you can have dinner outside in the summer. In the lounge inside you can take some cake and fruit for free.
We had the junior suite with seaview. You can hear the waves rolling when you go to bed. It’s a bit noisy with all the restaurants at the boulevard and people walking and screaming in the night but the seaview is fantastic.
The beds weren’t soft which was a pity. But the room is spacious and well decorated. The bathroom is enormous with a speparate bath and shower. And toilettries.
The breakfast buffet is terrific. The only negative point is the coffeemachine. If you can have nespresso coffee in your room why don’t they give you the same quality at the breakfast.
There is a private parking with the hotel for which they charge you 20 euros. But then your car is parked safely. You have to reserve a place.
Overall, we will sure come back to this hotel.

Incredible service, from the reception to the cleaning staff.
A very special hotel designed to make your stay in Oostende perfect.
The room we had, Junior Suite was amazing, it is huge, you get free water, Nespresso machine with 4 free capsules a day, bathroom with bath and shower, the view is amazing, I'll add some photos.
The room is quiet, you hear nothing from the hall or people above and next to you, you are of course at the mercy as to what is happening on the beach in front of you ;-)
The icing on the cake is that it is just next to the concert hall and the Oostende Casino which is a nice little casino. Recommended.

I stayed for 3 days at this beautiful beach hotel in Ostend. Central location near Casino Kursaal-Westhelling, right on the beach promenade. Great place for seminars, modern equipement , large conference rooms with view at sea, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. We enjoyed our stay!
