Very nice small hotel a few steps from the old town center. Very clean tidy rooms, nice breakfast, overall good service. Very happy and recommend for those travelling with pets. There is a park with grass nearby where dogs can have some few resting walks with no horses nor tourists.
It has a small fridge for drinks. The shower is awesome. Clean towels every day. At night, even though the room was at the street it was quiet.
The bed was ok, with small pillows that might give you neckpain, but nothing that a warm shower won't fix.

Took my fiancee to Bruges for a long weekend having booked the Loreto on the strength of reviews written here.

It's a fab location, within 10 minutes of pretty much everything. It's also comfortably furnished with good beds, sufficient storage, a good sized bathroom with shower over bath (we stayed in room 22) and a safe

Whilst there is no hairdryer in the room, if you ask at reception they're happy to provide one.

The staff are friendly and happy to offer advice on where to go and what to see.

The breakfast is continental but plentiful and sets you up nicely for the day.

There are plenty of restaurants in the environs so you don't need to walk into the centre to find somewhere to eat. If you turn right out of the hotel then take the next right, there are numerous establishments that should cater for most tastes

There are also numerous sights to see nearby. The Diamond Museum is literally 100 metres away (turn right out of hotel and it's on the opposite side of the road) and if you plan on doing the 30 minute boat ride around the canals use the boat station just up the road. Turn left and the entrance is just before the bridge and is less busy than those in the centre.

I'd be happy to stay here again because the staff are great, it's spotless and it's a fantastic location

We stayed here for four nights recently, and have to say it was just perfect for us.

The location is great, walking distance from all the City's attractions, and not too far from the railway station.

We had a friendly welcome, & nothing was too much trouble (extra toilet roll/hair dryer).

The room was quite large, as was the bathroom (which had a bath and shower). The mattress was memory foam and very comfortable, the only downside was that there was no air conditioning; this wasn't a problem though.

We did not have breakfast at the hotel, but I was say that considering the prices in Bruges, the €10 per person cost is good value for money.

Our room 11 was a big room on the first floor facing the street, it had a big window to open and watch the sights and sounds of Bruges and to watch the horse & cart tours go by, staff was great and all could speak English, car parking was at an underground parking building about 100m away and only 8.7€ per 24hrs. Only little down side for some maybe the cobblestone street a little bit noisy in the morning with one or two bigger trucks.

Great small hotel located in the midst of a busy tourist area. Right around the corner from the Walplein. Walplein is a busy square with several restaurants and the amazing De Halve Maan brewery. Proprietor helped us get restaurant reservations at a restaurant on the Walplein. We were in room 31. Large windows in room. Located in back of the building. Caution for room 31. Not for tall people because room is on top floor and roof is deeply angled! Tough using the toilet or taking a shower without hitting your head! Shower curtain only extended about a foot because of the roof angle. Breakfast was OK. No fresh fruit. Eggs could be soft or hard cooked in a unique egg cooker. Nuts in the granola were not fresh. Although I indicated loud for noise level it was only during the day and was relatively quiet at night. We pulled into town on a Saturday that had 3 cruise ships docked nearby!! Dumping 9000+ passengers on the streets during the day. Hard to navigate considering the tiny streets. You had to dodge horse carriages, tourists, cars and even a tour bus! Made hope for visiting a quiet, quaint, city out the window! We figured out that using the back streets to navigate helped greatly. Map provided by reception at hotel was very helpful. After the cruise tourists left the town was reasonably quiet for sleeping. Visiting museums was helpful to duck the crowds during the day. Google the Zeebrugge seaport for cruise schedule for when you plan to visit to help avoid surprises! There was the smell of smoke in stairwell. They do allow pets.

Room Tip: Room 31. Comfy bed. Bathtub and shower. CAUTION - tall people may hit their head using the toilet or...
