just fantastic hotel with atmosphere...I think ideal for couples without children...big rooms and buthrooms, cosy bar lounge/bar area... everything made with taste and nostalgic touch

We stayed here (four of us, in two adjacent rooms) and were very happy with the comfortable rooms, the great old-world charm, and the wonderful breakfast! As Americans, we are used to more food in the mornings, and this offered a wide variety of things to get us going in the morning. Very personable staff.

Room Tip: There are rooms that don't overlook the canal, so you'll need to ask for that.

We recently went to and got engaged in the delightful, charming Bruges. My partner had chosen for us to stay at Ter Bruges and what a brilliant choice it was. I loved it. We had a complimentary upgrade, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and the hotel is just stunning. Location is great too as it is just a quick walk to the main square, 5 minutes. Also on the canal so while having breakfast you can look out onto it. Our room faced the canal with two large windows so was perfect.
The only negatives I have, is the hotel does not have an iron or iron board (even though when we originally booked, this was advertised in the amenities) also, no shower in our room which just made getting ready take that little bit longer, which I am surprised did not deter my partner from proposing.
Apart from that, we had a superb time, would definitely go back and we highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed with my son in an ambiat, tastefully furnitured attic room.
The location of hotel is excellent, close to Market Square and the beautiful Spigelrei.
Rich breakfest in a chanel-facing room. Nice staff.
