An excellent boutique hotel - we had fantastic rooms - the service and facilities were excellent - size of rooms were good , cleanliness standards were good - location is perfect - a short walk and you were on the main street - walking distance from the centre. Make sure you step out with an umbrella - we had a great 2 days - breakfast could have been better - but all in all a fantastic place

The Prinsenhof is an excellent hotel. The moment we entered and were greeted by our friendly host, we knew we had made the right choice. Our room was extremely comfortable, especially the bed. The hotel is in a terrific location, tucked into a quiet peaceful street, yet steps away from all of Bruges' main attractions. We were given a lot of helpful information, including suggestions for very nice restaurants. I would rate the hotel higher than a five if I could!

The hotel is located in a small lane of a very large shopping street filled with many local restaurants and waffle places. The staff were very friendly upon check in and catered to all our needs.
The hotel has a sort of retro charm to it however it is actually quite modern. The rooms have automatic blinds if you're on the top floor and the tub is automatic in the bathroom as well !
The breakfast is one thing the hotel could improve on as the room was filled with bugs flying around and the food was not so good, but you could always walk out and in about 5 minutes you will reach a small cafe. The rooms are a bit small but cosy and are quite easily accessible.
I think the hotel is great for a two night stay or less.

Stayed 2 nights with my wife on a quiet getaway. Were upgraded to a deluxe room upon arrival, which was nearly already ready to go despite a morning arrival. Every staff member was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our room was part of a package that included a city tour, breakfast and a welcome drink. All were good, and the breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had at a European hotel. All in all, we really have nothing but good things to say about this hotel, they really do all the small detail things to make your stay as nice as possible. We can't wait to come back and visit again.

Was supposed to stay at the Duke's hotel (nicest in Bruges) right next door but they were not flexible with our arrival date (needed to shorten stay by 1 day) so we booked at Hotel prinsenhof. This was a great decision. The price was significantly cheaper (despite the last minute booking) and we were pleasantly surprised by how nice the room was--large, clean, with an updated bathroom with heating built in the floors. The staff was wonderful too. Only drawback is that the hotel is not on the canals, but Bruges is such a small, walkable town that it was a 3 min stroll to the canals.

Highly recommended.
