Beautiful dinner, attentive service - but relaxed vibe. Lovely venue - everything you would hope it to be.
Book. It's great.

I went for lunch with my husband, and we received a warm welcome. The restaurant offers some three course meals at a very reasonable price. The food and service was excellent. There was also a comprehensive wine list. I would really recommend this restaurant.

We had spent an hour or so walking around a slightly chilly and overcast Bruges, looking for somewhere with a menu that had light fish dishes as my girlfriend was just getting over a dodgy tummy. We wanted something better than just one of the tourist cafes but nothing too fancy. With good fortune we stumbled across Au Petit Grand. We were through the door literally seconds after it opened and were met with warmth, kindness and great charm. The restaurant interior is lovely and the food to match.

My girlfriend had the Sole, simply but perfectly cooked, with a nice salad. I had the King Prawns with tomato and garlic, with frites, which was absolutely delicious. The prawns were huge, the biggest I'd ever seen. We regretted we couldn't take the shells back with us to make one of Rick Stein's

prawn stocks!

For dessert I had the Profiteroles, filled with ice-cream and covered with a lovely chocolate sauce.

Highly recommend Au Petit Grand. Nothing pretentious, just really good ingredients, cooked with great care and understanding, and lovely friendly service.

We were made to feel extremely welcome by Line and Tom when we visited this week.
The restaurant is quite small but very elegant and we had a lovely window table and watched the horse and carriages passing by.
We ordered the Choice menu at €51 and chose Carpaccio of Beef followed by the Chateaubriand and then the largest ice-cream ever!!!
Both were absolutely outstanding and the Chateaubriand was cooked to perfection.
Line was the perfect hostess with a wonderful sense of humour and made our evening very special.
Thank you both and we will definitely come back when we visit Bruges again.

This was a wonderful restaurant. Food was outstanding and the service was top-notch. We had a wonderful appetizer along with the house steak. The wine was excellent and beer was cold; the dessert was great. Highly recommend this restaurant. Price was as expected.
